Gravity Falls Creator Shares The Weirdest Emails From Disney's Censors

Gravity Falls is celebrating 10 years and, as such, creator Alex Hirsch has given fans a long-awaited treat: emails from Disney’s Standards and Practices trying to censor and change the story, dialogue, and characters.

Hirsch, who also provided voices for the show, posted on his Twitter account real emails and concerns from Disney and his responses in turn. Things range from how Mabel and Dipper would insult other characters to Disney being afraid of words that might have a sexual connotation. Hirsch fought back with most of these as the level of ridiculousness amplified as the series went on.
